First Round of Golf
Well, I broke from my tradition of not golfing on the weekends in order to take advantage of the beautiful weather to get my first round in. Harry and I rendezvoused at the A&W at the south end of town and I threw the clubs into his truck (I forgot to throw in my golf shoes). I used my carry bag with my driver, 5 hybrid (from church rummage sale), 6, 9, sw, chipper & putter (also from church rummage sale) and off we drove to Birch Hills. I purchased a 10 game card and we had time for coffee before teeing off. First hole, I used the 5 hybrid for the first 2 shots (2nd one beautiful over the trees stopping close to the green. I was struggling with my weight with the chipper and I didn't have my driver working. I had 1 GIR and 2 pars, otherwise mediocre round. My excuses - first round, different clubs, too few clubs, no golf shoes :)
