Paul Casey wins first U.S. PGA Tour Victory

Raiders are out

Edmonton Oil Kings defeated Prince Albert Raiders 2 to 1 in a hard fought game at about the 9th minute of overtime.  Edmonton goes on in the playoffs and the season is over for Prince Albert.  Better luck next year.

2009 Tim Hortons Brier

Alberta's Kevin Martin successfully defended his Canadian men's curling title with a 10-4 win over Manitoba's Jeff Stoughton on Sunday in the final of the Tim Hortons Brier. Martin won his second straight Brier title, and fourth overall, while the Edmonton skip increased his winning streak to a record 26 games. Full Story.

Phil Michelson, is spite of being ill fought the physical ailment and won the Tournament.

Davis Love III wins for the 20th time

I had to feel good for Davis Love III winning the Children's Miracle Network Tournament and earning a lifetime exemption on the PGA Tour because this was his 20th win on Tour. Most of those playing today were trying to move up the Money List to be better than 125th place to guarantee their 2009 Tour Card.
